M & Mmmmmm Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (half stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda/li>
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup M&M's
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Cream butter and sugars in a small bowl until light and fluffy.
- 3. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix well.
- 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 6. Fold in M&M's
- 7. Scoop dough into 6–8 equal balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Gently press a few M&M's on top of each cookie.
- 8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are golden and centers still look soft.
- 9. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
